In 2004, Anne was engaged by the Government of Australia to conduct a review of the Australian Youth Orchestra and the Australian National Academy of Music.  She was also a Critical Friend of the National Review of School Music (2005), a principle writer of a report of the working party on music education for the Victorian Secondary School Principal’s Association in 1995, music writer of Key Competences in School Practise for the Directorate of School Education in 1994, and contributed to ‘A Report on the State of Music Education in Victoria for The United Nations World-wide survey’ for the International Society for Music Education in 1990
